main of There's No Need To Pay Full Price When So Many Cell Phone Deals Are Available

For many people, having a cell phone is no longer a luxury, it’s now a necessity. More people than ever before have ditched their home phone lines and rely entirely upon their cell phone for all forms of communication. Many people don’t even use their computers or laptops anymore, since their cell phone gives them access to much of the same information.

There’s a cost that comes with this reliance on cell phones. The hardware is expensive and plans are often very expensive as well. Smart consumers have recognized this and believe there are cell phone deals to be had. In many cases, there’s ways to save hundreds of dollars on cell phone hardware as well as on cell phone plans to ensure that you’re not bleeding financially from this necessity. Everyone enjoys getting a good deal, so why not on your cell phone?

Deals on Hardware

Everyone wants the headlining top of the line cell phones that are released. That being said, most people don’t need that absolute top notch phone. A model released with a little less power in the mid range is often as powerful as the last flagship phone that was on the market the year before. This drop off in performance is so negligible. There’s also far more sales available for these mid tier products as well.

Another way to get a good deal on your phone is to pair the purchase with your cell phone plan. Typically phone companies will spread the cost of the phone out over the length of the plan. The difference is that this can still often be much less expensive than if you had bought the phone outright. In many cases, phones that might cost $1000 will cost an extra $20 to $30 per month as long as you stay on that provider's plan for two years (Can be more or less, but two years is pretty common). That can be a savings between $280 to $520 over two years. Even if the plan is slightly

Deals on Plans

When it comes to getting a good deal on a cell phone plan, you have two options. The first is simple. Buy at the right time. Buying around Black Friday or other major consumer holidays can often provide solid discounts that you can lock in. This can also provide for a cheaper device as well.

The other option is to negotiate. Negotiating is difficult, so you need some leverage. First off, know what competitors are offering before you talk to a company. In many cases, they are authorized to agree to better deals than they have posted. However, they won’t just give away the bank. You need to show that you know there’s a better option out there. Also make sure you compare a contract vs. non-contract plan price with a seller. They will know that you have options when it comes to devices and will likely start to drastically reduce the cost of a plan.

Sought After Phones

These days there are so many different great phones to choose from. Even a model a year or two older provides excellent power, great cameras and a reduced cost. You don’t need to spend over $1000 for a new phone unless you really want to. Some of the best phones on the market right now include:

  • Apple iPhone 12 Pro - It’s expensive, but a flagship Apple model always comes through.
  • Apple iPhone 12 mini - the discount in price more than makes up for the smaller size. In most cases people feel more comfortable with the size of the “mini” anyway.
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra - If you’re going big on Android, then this is the answer.
  • Google Pixel 4A - It’s a solid phone that doesn’t cost nearly as much as the top of the line Apple or Samsung products.
  • Motorola Edge Plus - Many people remember the glory days of Motorola. They are trying to bring them back with this premium phone.
  • Samsung A51 - It might not have quite as many bells and whistles as the high end models, but at less than half the cost of a flagship Samsung, it’s quite a nice piece of equipment.
