main of Why Mattress Prices Are Coming Down During The Pandemic

The global pandemic has opened up the world to a lot of new ways of doing things. New priorities have emerged as living conditions have changed. One item that has gained even more love during the pandemic is the mattress. With people having to be at home so often, there’s a new appreciation for the furniture that’s being used so often. That especially includes the mattress.

With staying at home so often, people are actually interested in their mattress. Many people have chosen to use their mattress as a home for zoom calls and other remote work options. People working from their mattress often project an impressive level of calmness. Mattress sales have conveniently increased. People staying at home recognize that there’s a lot of terrible mattresses in use. Suddenly this has become far less acceptable and it’s time for a better one. Thankfully there are a lot of great deals as mattress prices have been dropping through the pandemic.

Why Are Mattress Prices Dropping

Mattresses are in a weird place in the pandemic economy. They’re an item that has actually seen a surge in popularity, but sales have shifted. Instead of going to a brick and mortar store, far more people have chosen to instead buy mattresses online. This has led to some great competition between these online mattresses. Prices have come down as sales have boomed. These mattress companies are able to make a great profit as they are selling bigger volume.

It’s a weird situation, since many companies needed to close down production for a while. Those that had a fairly large reserve of product on hand could afford to sell them for less and keep the revenue flowing.

Great Mattresses

There’s a lot of great mattresses that you might be interested in. Many of them are constantly on sale for about 15% off, but there’s no guarantee that will last. What follows are some of the best mattresses that you can get shipped during the pandemic.

  • Casper Mattress - Most people are very familiar with the Casper mattress by now. Casper mattresses were one of the first “mattress in a box” where the strong foam would expand after it’s removed from the box. You get 100 days to decide if it’s the right mattress for you. It’s a bit softer than some other mattresses, but perfect for people who like a softer mattress.
  • Nolah Mattress - This is another all foam mattress available online. There’s typically some coupon codes floating around as well offering hundreds of dollars of savings off of the retail price, making it even more affordable. This mattress is temperature neutral, which is pretty good for a foam mattress.
  • Saatva - This is considered a luxury mattress and has a cotton pillow top style on top of the memory foam. You can get a Saatva in firm, luxury firm and soft styles. It’s a comfortable, yet sturdy option which can suit multiple different types of sleepers.
  • Tuft & Needle - This mattress is even more economically friendly than others, and can often be found for around $500 if you catch it on a small sale. It does have several variants of the mattress, which can increase the price, but it’s still going to come in under others. It feels substantive and solid when you lay on it and you know that it’s going to support you.
